hi all! seems like forever since we've posted anything... sorry about that! roman is still growing like crazy - can't believe how quickly! he likes to sit up by himself - does pretty good for the most part. although, the other night, he was sitting on the floor looking at some books while i (colette) was switching out some of his clothes. after about 15 mins, he let out a funny yelp so i looked at it - he looked at me, looked straight up in the air, and flopped backwards (as if to say, 'mom, i'm tired of sitting.') it was pretty funny.

roman got to spend time with grandpa mark and grandma susan recently (and lots of other people in the wayland area!) had a great time with them!

unfortunately, the flu bug visited us. so sad to see such a little guy not feeling well. he was amazingly cheerful during the few days that he couldn't keep anything down. he was feeling better last night and able to watch the superbowl with jake and me.

can't believe we'll have a 6-month-old next week already! will have more pics for you then... :)
