happy treating!

we went with an animal theme again... roman was excited about his giraffe costume and josiah seemed ok with his frog suit. although, every time we asked him what a frog says, he would "meow".  still, cute.  we got to trick-or-treat in ankeny last night, downtown ames businesses today over the lunch hour, and then our neighborhood in ames tonight.

jake's pep talk with the boys last night before heading out: "ok, guys, we're mainly going for snickers, reeses' and kit kat.  no skittles or starburst."  pretty sure the boys didn't get what dad was saying, based on the heap we collected... now trying to decide how to ration it out and what goodies i could make with some of it.  :}
