first, here we are enjoying our backyard... trying to keep cool in this august heat!!
ROMAN started kindergarten prep on wednesday! he is loving it so far -- loves his teacher, his new friends, the slides at recess... great all around. his only request is that he'd really like to ride the bus to school. (what? not have mom drop you off in the minivan?!) i didn't think this would start this young! but sure, buses do look a little bit exciting... it's amazing how much noise pours out the bus windows as kids are piling on after school. :-) thankful that he's enjoying it all so far!

JOSIAH.... is not potty-trained yet, but he says that he wants to. so that's the progress that we're celebrating this week. he turned three a month ago, and he says that he'll ride the potty train when he's three, so that's where we're at... :-}

BENJAMIN... ok, so this is the REAL deal this time... actual steps without holding on to something. (can you tell i'm a *little* excited about this?!) it's still not even consistent, as in not every day, but it's a start, and we'll take it! GO, buddy! :-)
