(quick) weekend in chicago!

we got to see travis and lindsay this weekend -- drove to chicago on saturday morning and then came back this afternoon. it was a quick trip but a fun one! we hung out with them on saturday and sunday. we experienced some fine dining -- filafil (rhymes with "awful" but really tastes very good!) and a yummy cafe for brunch. we also got to see lindsay's show, which was very fun for us! roman got some quality time with uncle trav while we went out -- apparently roman enjoys the musical stylings by bob dylan. :-) here are a few pics from the weekend!

our drive home today ended with an hour-long-roman-hugging-session at panchero's with gpa mark and gma susan... it was short but sweet!! :)

can't wait for the next trip to chicago - trav suggests the zoo so we can see lions, tigers, and bears! (oh my!!!) :)
