the boys

josiah is 5 weeks old now and we haven't posted any new pics of him since the pics we took at the hospital - yikes! we had a wild week (two weeks ago already?) when josiah was admitted to blank children's hospital for three days with viral meningitis. we're thankful for the great care we got at the hospital and many prayers and notes of encouragement from friends and family! josiah seems to be healthy now and is growing everyday! (i tried to put some pjs on him tonight only to realize that he is too long for them... oops, we missed that boat!)

roman is a good helper -- listens pretty well when i'm working with josiah. he has ornery streaks every once in a while, but that's to be expected, right? ...roman woke up with a runny nose today, so i had been wiping his nose a lot throughout the day. i was feeding josiah tonight when roman came to me and said "my nose, my nose", so i told him to go get a little bit of toilet paper to wipe his nose. as he walked away, i said "just two pieces of toilet paper!" (as if he would know what that meant!?!) he came back downstairs and said (very proudly) "my wipe my nose mama" and then put down the little bit of t.p. that he used... i couldn't help but laugh.
