happy birthday, to our big boy! what a fun time of life for this guy! roman often narrates ...our life. he's very observant and has something to say about almost everything! i love his questions - and then especially love his "thinking face" when he gets the answer and has to process... he crumples up his eyebrows and purses his lips... hard not to laugh to see him thinking so hard! roman is a great big brother - i really do think he and josiah are going to be great buds. he's learning to be good at sharing and "making trades" (thanks to the messer family for this little trick!) with josiah - all part of the growing-up process, but i can't believe we're already to this point! i have to laugh hard when roman starts laughing at something, sometimes it's a forced laugh and sometimes it's just a good ole belly laugh - glad this boy has so much joy! :) love having this boy in our life and excited for the big year ahead!
