We traveled to Omaha this past weekend, our first family-of-five (just the five of us) vacation! We left Friday afternoon and came back Sunday afternoon... just long enough away that the hotel was fun, but it was definitely good to be home, too!

We stayed at the Best Western Kelly Inn, mainly for the pool feature... a fun frog slide and some other water options. (Not a big waterpark.... just a little more than the typical hotel pool!) I think the frog slide was in 12 inches of water, and the deepest part of the pool was 3 feet. Nice for our boys! All of us got to enjoy the pool, even Benjamin!

On Saturday, we slept in just a bit and then made our way to the Henry Doorly Zoo! It's a big zoo, but I think that we made all of the exhibits/animals that the boys were hoping to see. (The weeks ahead, they had mostly been talking about the aquarium, giraffes, and rhinos.) Josiah still talks about the whales that we saw, even though Jake and I don't remember seeing them!?! We think he will be a-mazed if we ever go to Sea World or somewhere else where there really area whales. :)
